Add Comfort to All Your Shoes

The footbed of some shoes can be uncomfortable.

Some shoes have rough footbeds when they’re new, some get old and cracked as they age, and frankly – most shoes just don’t fit perfectly.

SoxsolS provides an answer to all of these problems.

The thick, plush fabric layer absorbs any perspiration and allows the bottom of the foot to breathe. Meanwhile, it covers roughness in the footbed providing a wonderfully comfortable experience.

SoxsolS work great in a vast variety of shoes.

From your favorite boat shoes like Sperry Top-Siders to sandals like Birkentocks and clogs like Crocs. Sometimes going sockless in shoes like these can be uncomfortable…clammy and wet.

A pair of SoxsolS in your favorite shoes will that clammy feeling under the foot and enable that perspiration to later be laundered away and at the same time protecting the shoe from the adverse effects of the perspiration in the shoe.

SoxsolS Pro-tip: For a surprisingly lush experience try SoxsolS in a pair of Crocs or other thick polyurethane foam shoes. While the cheap polyurethane foam makes a really soft cushion that absorbs greatly any impact to the foot the polyurethane against the skin can be a clammy experience because it doesn’t breathe. SoxsolS adhere well to the polyurethane and create a thick breathable layer underneath the foot.

Protect Your Expensive Shoes

SoxsolS protect your investment s

Shoes can be expensive and there are many good reasons to buy high-quality footwear.

However, when you make an investment in really great shoes, the last thing you want to do is wear them out, make them smelly, or damage them in any way.
Unfortunately, one of the things that damages shoes the easiest is the hardest to avoid – foot sweat.

The foot has a huge number of sweat glands which can generate a good volume of perspiration daily. According to Patent Info, in a pair of feet there are normally about 250,000 sweat glands which typically produce about half a pint of perspiration a day. Sweat glands are more concentrated on the feet than in any other part of the body.

With this perspiration comes a handful of common bacteria that live on the foot, these are responsible for creating the familiar vinegar odor in long worn shoes. This sweat and odor can sink deeper into the footbed.

SoxsolS provide both an absorber and a barrier to prevent sweat from wreaking havoc on the footbed. Simply remove your Soxsols from your shoes when ready (you’ll know), and launder.

It’s as simple as that – and your high-quality shoe investments will last longer than ever!

Go Sockless. Without the Squishy.

It feels wonderfully free and comfortable to go sockless, and many styles of shoes nowadays actually call for being worn without socks.

As this style becomes more and more popular, the issues with sweat we discussed above become a bigger and bigger problem.

Without the proper accessories, going sockless can lead to staining of the footbed, a foul odor in your shoes, and discomfort from fraying seams or fabrics.

SoxsolS counteracts all these problems and makes going sockless a stylish, comfortable, and clean experience.

Solve for Stinky Shoes.

As we mentioned above, feet have lots, and lots of sweat glands which leads to lots and lots of perspiration. This perspiration is accompanied with symbiotic bacteria that actually produce that all too familiar foul smell.

Folks will go to great lengths to remove this smell, but a better option might be to prevent it in the first place.

SoxsolS does three things to aid in the fight against odor.

  • Absorption
  • Prevention
  • Launderability

By allowing the perspiration to collect in the SoxsolS that can then be laundered rather than seep into the footbed, you keep the majority of the offending perspiration from building up in the shoe itself. Then, simply wash your SoxsolS like socks to deliver the same performance when pulled from the sock drawer back into action.

100% Customizable to Any Shoe or Sandal

Feet and the shoes they go into have a wonderfully vast universe of shapes. Because of this, we designed Soxsols to be completely customizable.

SoxsolS can be easily trimmed with a pair of scissors, there are no seams to worry about or layers that will delaminate.

Shoes that come with a removable footbed insert provide a simple template and the SoxolS can be trimmed to shape by simply holding the Soxsols against the footbed insert and cutting along the perimeter.

Natural Fibers

SoxsolS Natural Fibers

There are a number of benefits to natural fibers. Natural fibers are typically very comfortable, which makes them great for sensitive skin, and maintain comfort across a range of conditions.

Currently, all SoxsolS models are made with cotton and wool. Our cotton is a 100% cotton knit while our wool is a 90%wool, 10% nylon weave.

SoxsolS are made of very thick, high weight fabrics. The thickness helps absorb the maximum amount of perspiration, while also allowing the foot bottom to breath and provide for an overall more plush experience.

People routinely ask which type of SoxsolS is best, and it really comes down to personal preference. SoxsolS’ team member preference usually aligns with their preference for either wool or cotton socks.

Machine Washer & Dryer Safe

Finally, SoxsolS can be thrown into your laundry just like socks!

At the end of the day, just peel them out of your shoe, drop them into the laundry hamper – then go through the washer and dryer with everything else. SoxsolS can be washed, dried, used and reused over the course of years.

No special cleaning instructions!

SoxsolS Pro-tip: Soxsols will grip your shoe better if air dried. But for fun, they like to take a ride in the dryer – you’ll find them stuck to the inside. Simply peel and stick together for storage.
